Our team has extensive experience as subcontractors in constructing diverse projects such as hospitals, stadiums, prisons, airports, office towers, residential complexes and more.

Brad Armstrong, CPA-CA

Brad is a Director at Seaforth Systems Ltd., where he is responsible for strategic planning, finance and administration, accounting, computer systems, and the overall management of the company. Previously, Brad served as President & CEO of Canem Systems Ltd., one of Western Canada's largest electrical contractors, from 2003 until his retirement in 2010. Under his leadership, Canem's revenue tripled to $180 million annually, making it one of the most progressive, innovative, and profitable electrical contracting companies in North America. This success led to the company going public in 2008.

Beyond his professional achievements, Brad is an avid researcher of the Canadian Expeditionary Force of World War I. He has been actively involved in identifying the burial locations of 44 missing Canadian soldiers and participated in an archaeological dig in Belgium, where 128 soldiers were discovered. The name Seaforth Systems Ltd. honors the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada, with whom his great-uncle served with distinction during WWI.

Jason Armstrong

Jason is a versatile business professional and master electrician responsible for overseeing all operations and development of Seaforth. With over 10 years of experience at Canem Systems Ltd., one of Western Canada’s largest electrical contractors, Jason began as an apprentice and progressed through roles such as Foreman, Service Manager, and National Division Project Manager.

After his tenure at Canem and Brad’s retirement, Jason and Brad co-founded Seaforth Systems, transforming it into a thriving electrical contracting company renowned for its excellence and customer service. For over a decade, Seaforth developed a strong reputation among North America’s leading general contractors and owners. Building on this success, Seaforth has evolved into its current form, offering a comprehensive suite of services tailored to meet the unique needs of contractors and owners—a previously untapped market.

Jason’s expertise spans large-scale construction projects across commercial, institutional, and industrial sectors, with experience in business operations, project management, estimating, marketing, contracts, and more. Outside of work, Jason enjoys golfing, skiing, hiking, and exploring North America and Europe with his family.

Reece Seymour

Meet Reece, our Senior Project Manager, who expertly oversees and directs projects for our clients. With a robust background as a qualified estimator and project manager, Reece manages the entire estimating cycle, ensuring precision and client satisfaction. He is responsible for preplanning, purchasing, field management, change orders, billing, project financial reporting, negotiations, delays, and project close-outs.

Originally from South Africa, Reece has embraced the beauty of Squamish, where he enjoys mountain biking and exploring trails with his beloved pet husky. His diverse skills and passion for the outdoors make him a valued and dynamic member of our team.

Senior Project Manager

Wayne Lysholm

Wayne is a long-time employee of Seaforth Systems Ltd., bringing a wealth of field and estimating experience to our team. His primary role is to assist our clients with all their estimating and design needs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every project. Outside of his professional duties, Wayne serves as a Warrant Officier with the Canadian Forces, dedicating many weekends and vacation days to drilling and working with his unit. His dedication to both his civilian and military roles exemplifies his commitment and versatility.

Doug Hale

Doug Hale is an experienced construction management professional with a strong background in overseeing large-scale projects and improving processes for enhanced efficiency. At Seaforth Systems Ltd., Doug specializes in construction management consulting, estimating oversight, and process improvement for clients. Since joining Seaforth Systems in 2020, he has played a key role in planning, organizing, and executing projects, as well as contributing to the company's estimating and closing strategies.

Prior to his current role, Doug had a distinguished career at Canem Systems Ltd., one of Western Canada’s largest electrical contractors. From 1983 to 2020, he served as their Executive Vice-President of Construction, responsible for strategic planning and implementing best practices across all eight divisions in Canada. Doug managed an impressive portfolio, overseeing more than $250 million annually in projects that included prisons, data centers, sports arenas, and some of Canem's most complex undertakings.

Cindy Bollhorn

Cindy, our dedicated Administrator, plays a crucial role at Seaforth Systems Ltd. She manages a variety of tasks, including accounting, invoicing, project coordination, marketing, client engagement, systems management, and providing estimating support. Beyond her professional commitments, Cindy enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, playing sports, and engaging in activities with friends. Her diverse skills and vibrant personal interests make her an invaluable member of our team.
